Our History & Mission

 

Our Directorate of Health, Culture and Sports, established under Articles 46 and 47 of Law No. 2547 as amended by Law No. 2880, is a healthcare institution serving all segments within the university, a service unit meeting students’ social, cultural, counseling, guidance, and sports needs, and also an application department where practices and research are conducted in this field to support education and training. 

 

Among the duties of our Directorate are carrying out services related to the health affairs and treatments of students and staff; organizing activities for meals, sports, cultural and social events; and arranging programs to meet students’ accommodation needs. 

 

MISSION;

To protect students’ physical and mental health; to treat or arrange treatment for those who fall ill; to provide services that enable students to make the most of their leisure time in areas such as accommodation, nutrition, work, and rest; to help them develop new interests; to improve their social conditions; to support the healthy development of their talents and personalities; and to nurture them as individuals who value their mental and physical well-being, while instilling habits of regular and disciplined work, rest, and recreation.
